My Bookshelf Favorites

A few inquired what’s on my bookshelf and asked about the books that have made an impact on my journey.  In the following are a mix of texts that have taught me ways to cultivate self-awareness and joy through straightforward wisdom to readings that delight the psyche in a detectives land offering much-needed distraction from today’s hectic world.

A Return To Love by Marianne Williamson: In this book, Williamson will inspire you to live your life with pure love, kindness, and compassion by learning ways to decrease fears and ego mindset. This text reflects on the core principles from A Course in Miracles in an accessible and relatable format.

The Practice by Barb Schmidt: Reflecting on her own stories, Barb will guide you through practical advice and inspirational guidance on how to live with more joy and less chaos by embracing resources to encourage a positive mindset and outlook.

You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero: Sincero will broach topics that will help you discover and overcome life barriers while learning methods to bolster your mind, belief system, and overall personal strength. In this book, you will re-learn and be reminded of how authentically amazing you already are.

Becoming by Michelle Obama: This book is a great one for anyone who is a Michelle fan or enjoys a good bio filled with life stories, triumphs, and tribulations. Her book is not only inspiring but incredibly motivating.

Murder, She Wrote Book Series A series and text much different from the above recommendations, the Murder, She Wrote books are a delightfully light and enjoyable read when you need a mental escape from reality. If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll indulge in each mystery as though you’re working by J.B. Fletcher’s side.
