Wellness and AI

I never thought I would turn to AI for wellness as I have always relied on journaling, meditation, and connecting inter-personally with others or simply through music or pre-recorded meditations. But as life has become busier, in a very positive way, I have leaned into the intricacies of AI as a wellness outlet.

One evening, completely pooped from a long day, I tried a meditation app powered by AI versus my usual apps of pre-recorded sessions by actual people. This AI app suggested a quick breathing exercise based on how I felt, so I gave it a try, and by the end of those three minutes, I felt a little more centered. It was not life-changing, but it was a small win, and some days, that is enough.

Since then, I have embraced AI tools in ways I did not expect. I use an AI wellness app that asks a series of questions about my meditation goals, stress levels, sleep habits, and overall wellness objectives. It then processes the info to create a meditation plan and journaling prompts tailored to how I am feeling.

For me, AI does not replace the physical wellness activities, like hopping into the yoga studio or chatting with my doctor on self-development plans, but it has become a helpful addition to my overall wellness journey. Just today I was speaking with my spiritual advisor about the importance of in-person dialogue, particularly if you are seeking guidance or wisdom.

I find it to be quite groovy how AI has been a supporter resource in my overall health journey. It simplifies self-care, offering personalized guidance when life gets busy. Whether it is micro-meditations or a reminder to pause (which I always need) incorporating AI wellness into my agenda helps me stay on track when my motivation may need that extra nudge. So, next time you need a bit of extra motivation, seek out an AI wellness app and explore what works best for you.
