I’m Debra Gudema, though some know me simply as Miss Deb; a writer, photography junkie, kindness advocate, art nerd, animal ally, and lifelong believer in the power of compassion and community service.
My personal and professional work centers around personal growth, life-long learning, and service. I’m currently pursuing my doctoral degree in education, with a focus on leadership and arts administration , and I’ve had the honor of serving as a rabbinical associate to a beloved Rabbi Emeritus for six years. That role, like so many others I’ve embraced, was rooted in connection, support, and deep tradition.
Over the years, I’ve supported organisations that mean a great deal to me such as Habitat for Humanity, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), animal welfare programs, and initiatives that increase access to arts education, symphonies, and museums for youth in need.
Through my wellness platform, Well&Co., I share personal reflections, journal prompts, and tools to help others lead lives full of self-awareness, growth, gratitude, and intention. I believe transformation happens when we choose kindness, especially toward ourselves.
I’m not here to claim perfection. I’m here to share a heart-centered journey, one that includes accountability, lessons, second chances, resilience after challenges, and the decision to keep moving forward with purpose. But above all, the power of kindness and compassion.
May my words offer hope and inspiration to others.
Thank you for being here. 🤍
Mindfully curated by Debra Gudema for Well&Co.
