Debra Gudema on: Oils for Emotional Support

I love oils, and yes, EVOO as well. Years ago a  contact introduced me to the brilliant addition of aromatherapy into my wellness regimen.

Thankfully the market of essential oils has broadened so access to decent brands is better available from Whole Foods to a line I love called Woolzies. 

For emotional support my body has always gleaned into lavender. This scent inspires feelings of calm when applied to your skin, diffused into a room, or sprinkled onto the floor of a shower.

When continuously used in the morning and evening, essential oils help inspire peaceful thoughts and spiritual harmony helping bring balance to our very busy world. 

Below is list of my go-to oils:

  • Lavender every day all day on my wrists, sprayed in the air, on my yoga mat, in the bath and in my bath salts. This scent is exceptionally calming and soothe.
  • Peppermint is a popular choice before a yoga class or a rigorous fitness routine. The scent is invigorating and pulses the nasal cavity and awakens the soul.
  • The gentle scent of vanilla curates a sense of bliss and sweetness. If you have a diffuser, this can magically transform the aura and tone of any room or home.
